Behind the Scenes: A Content Creation Day at EPBA Guest Teacher Workshop
14th June 2026
At Stage & Social, every content creation day is designed to capture the heart of a dance school while creating weeks of engaging social media content.
Recently, I spent the day with East Pointe Ballet Associates (EPBA) capturing a special workshop led by guest ballet teacher Josh Webb. Alongside EPBA's junior and senior students, local dancers were invited to join the day, creating a wonderful opportunity to celebrate dance, inspire young performers and bring the local dance community together.
Capturing the Day
From the moment the first class began, I was behind the camera capturing both photography and video content. My aim wasn't simply to document the event, but to tell the story of the day, showcasing the quality of training, the atmosphere in the studio and the memorable experiences shared by every dancer.

Learning from Guest Teacher Josh Webb
The day began with an inspiring ballet masterclass led by guest teacher Josh Webb. Junior and senior dancers from EPBA trained alongside visiting dancers from local schools, creating an encouraging and supportive environment where everyone could learn together.
Josh's class focused on developing strong ballet technique while encouraging dancers to explore musicality, artistry and performance quality. Learning from an experienced professional gave every student the opportunity to challenge themselves, gain valuable insight and experience a different approach to ballet training.

Rambert Contemporary with Carly Heath
The day continued with a dynamic Rambert Grades contemporary class led by EPBA founder Carly. As a highly qualified ballet teacher and licensed Rambert teacher, Carly encouraged dancers to explore movement, creativity and expression in a supportive environment.
The class gave both EPBA students and visiting dancers the opportunity to experience a different style of training while building confidence and enjoying the energy of dancing together.

What We Created
A single content creation day produced a bank of content that EPBA can continue using long after the workshop itself.
Content delivered:
- 3 Instagram and Facebook Reels
- 8 social media posts
- Instagram and Facebook Stories captured throughout the day
- A gallery of professional photographs
- Images shared with both EPBA students and visiting dancers as lasting memories of the workshop
By planning ahead and capturing content throughout the day, EPBA now has a library of authentic content that celebrates its students, showcases the opportunities available at the school and keeps its social media active for weeks to come.
Why Content Creation Days Matter
Workshops like this provide some of the most engaging social media content because they tell a story. They showcase the standard of training, the opportunities available to students and the welcoming community that makes a dance school special.
Whether it's a guest teacher, an open day, a showcase or a workshop, a content creation day captures those moments professionally while creating weeks of meaningful content to share with current and prospective families.
Planning an open day, workshop or special event? Let's create content that keeps promoting your school long after the day is over.
